Just be you

"Embrace Your Uniqueness"

The Just Be You project is a creative intervention and it holds a deeply personal place in my heart. Having undiagnosed ADHD/ADD my journey began with a misunderstood childhood

in the face of these challenges, I carried on with unwavering determination. I refused to let these misconceptions define who I was, later gaining a Degree in Ceramics.

It was during these moments of struggle that the idea for the Just Be You project was born, a project fuelled by my own experiences of being underestimated and undervalued.

I wanted to create a space where everyone, regardless of their unique challenges or differences, could find acceptance, understanding and support. Just Be You is a celebration of individuality, a place where we can embrace our quirks without fear of judgement.

My own journey has taught me that being different doesn't equate to being inferior. In fact, our differences are what make us beautifully unique. It's my hope that through this project we can empower one another, share our stories and uplift those who have felt marginalized or misunderstood.

Just Be You is more than just a project,  it is a testament to the power of resilience and self-acceptance. It is a reminder that we are all capable of achieving greatness, regardless of the challenges we face.

Thank you for joining me on this meaningful journey. Together, we can inspire change and create a world where everyone is encouraged to simply be themselves.

What We Offer

If you're uncertain about whether we can assist either yourself or someone you're acquainted with, please feel free to reach out to me. "There is always a solution to problems that may seem unconquerable."

I've experienced the isolation of not having anyone understand the support my child needs. Its a lonely journey and every morning brings a sense of dread and sadness for all of us. However, please know that it doesn't have to remain this way. We are here to guide you through the challenges and help you rediscover the joy in life, both for yourself and those around you. You can wake up with anticipation for the day ahead. We can communicate with your school, your community, or your workplace to provide the necessary support and transform what doesn't work into what does.

Discover the Power of Classroom Interventions with Clay: Nurturing Relaxation and Open Conversations

At Just be you, we believe in the transformative potential of creative interventions in the classroom. Our innovative approach utilises clay as the primary medium to foster a nurturing environment where children can unwind and engage in meaningful conversations.

Why Clay?

Clay, with its tactile and malleable nature, has an incredible ability to soothe and captivate young minds. As children immerse their hands in the soft, pliable material, they unlock a world of sensory exploration that often acts as a powerful stress-reliever. It's a medium that encourages them to channel their emotions, feelings and thoughts into something tangible, transcending the limitations of words alone.

Creating a Safe Space

In the hustle and bustle of the classroom, it is essential to provide children with a safe space where they can freely express themselves. Our clay-based interventions create precisely that atmosphere, a sanctuary where students can relax, let their guard down and simply be themselves. The act of shaping the clay often opens doors to conversations that might have otherwise remained closed.

Unleashing Creativity

The beauty of clay lies in its versatility. Through our interventions, we encourage children to unleash their creativity and imagination. This process not only promotes relaxation but also enhances problem-solving skills and self-esteem. As they mould the clay into various forms, they're also shaping their confidence and self-expression.

A Catalyst for Communication

Engaging with clay naturally encourages interaction. Students can share their thoughts about their creations, their day, or anything that might be on their minds. It serves as a bridge that facilitates communication in a non-threatening, non-judgmental way. By providing a comfortable space for self-expression, we foster connections that enrich both social skills and emotional intelligence.

Join Us in Creating Lasting Impact

At Just be you, we are dedicated to enhancing the classroom experience through creative interventions. Our clay-centered approach has shown time and again that fostering relaxation and open conversations can lead to personal growth and stronger connections among students.

Experience the difference for yourself. Join us in using clay to shape more than just sculptures – lets shape a brighter future for our children.
