Unbox Your Imagination was the original Just Be You art delivery box — developed for women who couldn't participate in conventional creative sessions and needed something that could reach them where they were.

What it is

Unbox Your Imagination started from a specific need: women who wanted to access creative work but faced barriers that made attending a group session impossible. Whether that was caring responsibilities, health, confidence, safety, or something else, the workshop setting didn't work for them. The workshop needed to come to them instead.

The result was a creative intervention delivered in a box — everything needed for a meaningful making experience, designed to be used at home, alone or with family, at whatever pace suited the person.

Unbox Your Imagination was the starting point for Just Be You's wider art delivery box development. The thinking behind it — that creative intervention should reach the people who need it most, not just the people who can easily show up — runs through all the boxes the organisation has since developed.

Who it's for

Unbox Your Imagination was originally designed for women who couldn't access conventional sessions. It's relevant to:
